About me ….

Hi, I’m Kristi - psychologist, coffee enthusiast, dedicated over-thinker (in recovery), former teacher, lecturer, researcher, neuroscience nerd and someone who genuinely loves helping people feel less overwhelmed by their busy minds.

I specialise in working with anxiety and anxiety-based disorders because, honestly, anxiety shows up everywhere. It can look like worry, procrastination, people-pleasing, perfectionism, avoidance, laziness, sleepless nights, overthinking, or that sinking sense of

“Was that weird? Should I replay that conversation again?”

My work is all about helping you untangle these patterns, understand what’s driving them, and build a life that feels calmer, steadier, and more you.

In therapy, I’m warm, curious, evidence-based, and very human. I blend approaches like EFT, EMDR, Psychodynamics, mindfulness, and trauma-informed work - not in a chaotic salad, but in a thoughtful, personalised way that makes sense for you. Sessions are collaborative, paced gently, and grounded in respect for your nervous system. No pressure to “fix yourself,” no judgment, no jargon (unless you love jargon - in which case, let's nerd out).

I believe people heal in spaces where they feel safe, understood, and able to laugh occasionally - even in the middle of hard things. Therapy doesn’t need to feel clinical or confronting; sometimes the most meaningful change happens in small moments of clarity, self-compassion, or humour.

My work is grounded in the belief that people are incredibly resilient, even when life has been unfair or overwhelming.

If anxiety has been running the show for a little too long, I’m here to help you get some space from it - and reconnect with the parts of yourself you may have forgotten.

Warmly,

Kristi
